This hike consists of three sections of trail within First Landing State Park. The "Narrows" section of Cape Henry Trail is comprised of water views and some sand sections. A small road section will connect to the Long Creek Trail.

The Long Creek Trail will provide some rolling hills while maneuvering small roots. Returning on the Osprey Trail, the trail runs along Broad Bay with beach running and water views. Finishing on the "Narrows" again back to the start/finish area.

Parking fees range from $5-10 depending on the day and season. Bring cash in case gate is unattended. Hours are Dawn to Dusk.

The hike begins on the "Narrows" section of the Cape Henry Trail near the boat ramp. Hike 1.1 miles to a small parking lot off Lake Susan Constant. Make a left onto the road to cross over to the Long Creek Trail 0.2 miles on the right.

0.16 miles from the trailhead turn right and then a left to stay on Long Creek. Follow Long Creek until reaching the Osprey Trail, turning left.

Osprey Trail starts the return trip home. Osprey will connect back to the 64th Street. Turn left on the road and then right at the parking lot to return on the "Narrows" back to parking lot near the boat ramp.

The park is known for its abundance of wildlife and views. First Landing has many habitats including bald cypress swamps, lagoons and maritime forest, as well as rare plants and wildlife.

The park is named for the colonist that first landed in 1607.
