Need to Know

This trail is overgrown but has well placed cairns to help you out. It still recommended you use this GPX file as some turns may be difficult to find. Long pants are recommended to guard against desert flora.

Description

This trail is a bit difficult to find. It starts at a campsite just barely east of the wash crossing of Bluff Spring Canyon. While I was there, I had trouble with finding the cairns at the bottom of the trail but a little higher up the cairns are well place, very visible, and done thoughtfully. Once on the plateau near the summit, you can follow this path to two minor summits or head directly to Bluff Springs Mountain. Once at the summit, there is a ammo box with a summit register and commanding, sweeping views into the wild terrain of the Superstition Wilderness.
