Description

This trail follows an old road along the Copper River where excellent views of the glacier can be seen at many sections. The hiker first enters thick vegetation, then parallels the river until reaching the Childs Glacier Recreation Area.

Flora & Fauna

Trail is paralleled by alder and cottonwood.
Bald eagles are frequently seen since there is an eagle nest nearby.
