Description

This route starts off of Powerline Trail, which seems to end (or at least no one has maintained it) not much past this turnoff. A left is taken off of Powerline Trail, onto this route. There are no markers so be sure to use the Trail Run Project App to track.

This old forestry road is closed to vehicles (though it is obvious dirtbikes occasionally visit) but is open to foot traffic. The road has a good canopy and you are very unlikely to see anyone else. There are a couple of options to turn left off of this route. If you stay on it, however, it'll take you about 7 miles out and it'll end. Just past that point there are obvious trails going to the right and the left but each seems to die out (I assume these are a combination of hiker, hunter, and game trails).

Hurricane Creek Rd is just on the other side of the drainage. With a little bit of off trail you can extend this route quite a distance.
