Description

Not really a destination trail, but it has some pretty views especially in the fall. From the junction with Lower West Grouse Creek Trail #2129, head south through a small stand of aspens. From here, the doubletrack trail stays in the open fields and sometimes narrows to singletrack and becomes overgrown. The grade is steadily uphill but mellow. Pass by some falling down barn-like structures as the trail switchbacks uphill. Towards the top, the trail enters more trees and welcome shade.
