Need to Know

On-street parking only at the Coachman Lane end. Note that the SCRCOG map shows an adjacent trail running parallel slightly to the west, but the trailhead for that is not evident to the casual observer.

Description

This white-blazed trail runs from a quiet residential neighborhood up a steady but steep climb to connect to the Naugatuck (Blue) Trail in the Elderslie Preserve segment. Its main role is surely to permit access to the many lovely trails of the Elderslie Preserve for local residents, but could be included in any hike through this region for a bit of cardio. Note that the 25 Coachman Lane tract is known as the Woodbridge Land Trust Lodge Property although it seems any actual lodge is long gone.
