Description

The first mile is wide open and around mile one the spring begins for the next mile. After the spring drys up, the canyon narrows and it requires some rock scrambling which continues for another mile. The brush continues to thicken. Be careful not to follow a different canyon up, there are many opportunities to separate from Spring Creek.

Flora & Fauna

The start of the trail has some of the most variety and lush flowers of the route.
