Overview

This trail will take you to the summit and then through the gulch and back up. There is a lot of climbing but it is broken up with a large downhill section after the summit.

Need to Know

There are parking lots for both the summit and the gulch so you can start from either side, but starting at Antoine's Summit Trail will allow you to complete the gulch circle and then backtrack down the mountain to the parking lot. Either way will be lovely.

Description

This trail has a decent amount of climbing with just under 2000ft of elevation gain. There is a decent amount of shade for most the hike, but also has some exposed sections. There is a small lake on the way up from the gulch, but the water seems to have a ton of algae. Start at Tower Road Trail and take it to Antoine's Summit Trail. Take Antoine's Summit Trail to Canfield Gulch trail. Make the loop and follow your steps back.
