Description

This trail heads east from Junction 14, then arcs left along a stone wall. It passes the southern end of the east loop and continues northward. It descends to the river over a series of small switchbacks, through a rocky area. As the trail nears the river's edge, it passes by the northern end of the east loop and turns left.

It follows along the southern shore of the Cold River, passing by a small gorge. The trail traverses over moss-covered rocks, through a Hemlock forest, then turns left (uphill). It climbs steeply, up from the river, then levels out. The trail continues to Junction 15, where it ends.
