Family Friendly Cool historic hike through mining areas.

Need to Know

Have to park in town and hike up to the trailhead. If Friday or Saturday, can end with a drink at the Bread Bar!

Description

QR codes on the sign posts along the way connect you to the history of the mining. Adds to the variety. Good for kids with a shallow mine you can enter. All the other mines (half a dozen or so) are barred off but you can still look into them. Hike ends at the 7:30 mine.
