Description

Randall Pond Trail completely encircles it's namesake pond allowing you to view it from multiple angles. The trail is also connected to the main parking area via a spur, the road via a bridge, Fir Hollow Trail trail, and a connecting spur that leads to the Forest Discovery Trail.

A small dock provides an elevated view of the water and a bench provides a place to rest. Riparian flora include red-osier dogwood, alder, and willow, while the pond hosts newts and crawfish. The northwestern segment of this trail heads through spring wildflowers past the Sign Shop and into forest. Here a Japanese Alder and a Tanoak can be found.
