Description

The Firefighter Memorial Trail begins at the primary parking lot in Peavy Arboretum and ends near the western parking lot at an intersection with the Sequoia Trail. The first two thirds of the trail pass through an open meadow filled with spring-blooming camas flowers.

At the halfway point you'll encounter a small memorial plaque to firefighters in front of a nice picnic pavilion. The western third of this trail is wooded (be mindful of poison oak along the trail here). A bridge passes over a small creek.
