Family Friendly All of the trails in this part of the Arboretum are great for the family to explore, but watch for traffic on the road sections around this one.

Description

This trail will require hiking on the Arboretum roads to access, so be mindful of traffic. It begins near the Maritime Meander Trail and Randall Pond Trail and ends near the park's entrance. The suggested Discovery Tour route has you take the Peavy Lodge Road back towards the middle of the park.

Along this narrower pathway you'll pass a row of Pacific Redcedars, along with western hemlocks, larches, red elderberry, Indian-plum, and cherry. At the eastern end of the trail you'll encounter a Persian Ironwood.
