Description

The trail starts on the edge of Sunol and heads up the grassy slope of Pleasanton Ridge. As you ascend, views of Sunol and beyond open up. Ridgeline Trail is on the right at 0.9 miles, shortly followed by Oak Tree Trail. An olive tree grove is on your right at 1.5 miles. The remainder of the trail is fairly exposed until you reach a shady stretch of oak forest at 3.2 miles for the final ascent to Ridgeline Trail. Please keep the cattle gates closed.
