Need to Know
Parking is available in several small pull-offs along 1328 within a short hiking distance to the trailhead. Parallel parking along the road is not allowed.
Description
The trailhead starts on route 1328, a gravel road accessible off of 1337, and continues to the north onto a forest service road [FS4097]. Along the beginning of the trail, the surface is fairly smooth and often near-level with a few spot of easy inclines and a few large rocks along the way.
Following the second turn-back farther up, you'll encounter several places with many rocks in the ground involving a bit of a climb, but then giving way to more level portions again. Much of the trail is wide, but there are more narrow places at some turns.
Flora & Fauna
A variety of trees and ground plants, but watch for ticks during the warm season.
