The trail ends at the historic cabins. Cabins are occupied most of the year. Hikers should be considerate of the privacy of people staying at the cabins.

Description

The trail starts near the amphitheater in the main camp. A large overhead trail sign marks the start of the trail. The trail goes through the woods and up a hill where it ends a the historic cabins. Hikers will need to use this trail to access the start of the Bear Trail.

Flora & Fauna

Forest flowers like trillium, hepatica, bishop's cap, and spring beauty can be seen along the trail. Ferns include sensitive, maiden hair and interrupted. Pileated woodpecker and porcupine sign can be observed on this trail.
