Description

This trail has nice views of both China Camp and San Rafel on opposite sides of the rode. The east end of the trail starts out steep and has some deep ruts cutting through it caused by erosion. As you hike west, the trail's terrain becomes more level varying between a single and doubletrack. As the trail nears the west end, it passes through a delightful small grove of redwood trees.
