Description

This wide concrete trail follows the right-of-way of the Missouri-Kansas-Texas rail from the Spring Street Sidepath to the White Oak Bayou Greenway just east of TC Jester.

The trail begins in the parking lot of the Sawyer Heights Village shopping center. The trail runs northwest under Interstate 10 then bridges over Studemont Street. The original timber rail trestle carries the trail over White Oak Bayou and into the Greater Heights neighborhood. The trail crosses numerous residential streets as well as Heights Boulevard.

The trail crosses White Oak Bayou again to end at Egbert and May streets, with both ramp and stair connection to the White Oak Bayou Greenway below on the south bank.
