Description

This boardwalk is located on the grounds of Connecticut's Department of Energy and Environmental Protection Maritime Headquarters also known as Ferry Landing State Park. The trail begins on the bank of the river up past the state's marina.

It continues on the ground past the headquarters building where it meets a green space with a gazebo. After passing the gazebo area, the boardwalk leaves solid ground and goes over the water. It continues underneath the railroad bridge. The boardwalk ends at a raised platform overlooking Roger Tory Peterson Wildlife Management Area.

This trail is dotted with benches and interpretive and educational signage all the way.
