Description

Woodburn Falls is a small but lovely waterfall on a tributary creek that empties into Lacamas Creek. This waterfall is best viewed in winter or spring when there is more water flowing. This trail leads to the waterfall and can be accessed from either Trail 3 (part of the Lake to Lake Loop) or from Trail 28.

Initially the trail passes through nice mossy trees before descending (comparably) steeply down to a small rocky outcropping directly in front of the falls. This results in an unobstructed view of the falls, but not a ton of space if the park is crowded.

Note: some maps show this trail crossing the creek and climbing up to Trail 29 - it doesn't officially do so and the southern bank of the creek is very steep and slippery. Scrambling up it could result in injury.
