Accessible when all snow is melted. Great in the summer and fall.

Overview

This trail is accessible from the Mytoge mountain road which can be accessed through out the warm season. There is parking at the top with spectacular views of the lake and surrounding area. The trail itself is well defined but somewhat steep in parts.

Description

The trail starts at the middle Fishlake overlook on Mytoge mountain. There is a small parking area and the trail is accessed by the Mytoge mountain road. The trail has pretty good elevation gain/loss in the distance it takes but the trail itself is not overly steep. Once you are down to the lake, there are various access points to move from the vegetation to the lake shore. The trail is popular but not over crowded.
