Description
This portion of
VT Corridor 100 starts off the south side of Route 9 and follows along
Rim Run Trail. It crosses over Grant Road and passes through an open field. It travels through varied forests on its way to Shearer Hill Road. Here, the trail crosses over Shearer Hill Road and traverses over a bunch of small hills. The trail descends the hill and turns right onto Pike Road. The trail turns southward and runs along the western edge of Gates Pond.
There's a small spur that provides views of Gates Pond.
