Very limited parking at the trailhead. More parking is available by the Lower Piney Trail off of Harmony Lane.

This trail connects to the southern terminus of the West Ridge Trail. This trail is quite steep over much of the hike. The trail is in good shape, but make sure to follow the yellow blazes, as there are some spots where you might go astray.

There are some winter views but there are no singular viewpoints. Don't really need to climb anything, but might benefit by using your hands in some places for balance.

Signs at the trailhead warn hikers about snakes.
