Need to Know
Open 6am - 11pm. Call (585) 509-2818 for info. The trail system borders a swampy area so bug spray is an absolute MUST. Trail shows signs of being used by mountain bikers also. Trail markers were visible and well spaced. Pets must be leashed and owners responsible for cleaning after them.
Description
This trail is relatively flat and the few height changes are short. If you follow the blue trail and see the "Fun" and "No-Fun" markers, the "Fun" trail is about 30 feet uphill but it is a dead end and you'll need to return to the trail. There are several trail spurs offering something new each time you come back.
Cement stairs in the middle of the route? Check. An old abandoned manufacturing site? Check. A gazebo in the middle of the woods? Check.
The views are not stunning, but it is a peaceful walk away from the world. There are signs that this trail is also used by mountain-bikers. There is also a gravel path right off the parking lot for those looking for a family-friendly stroll.
