Description

Soon after it's signed junction with Twentymile Creek Trail #414, The Twentymile Cutoff Trail crosses an unnamed creek and begins climbing slowly towards a small saddle. After passing through the saddle the trail continues along the side of a gently sloping ridge through a forest of mostly Grand Fir.

After crossing another stream, this one with a log hollowed out a a watering trough, the trail begins to descend and soon emerges onto Forest Road 492C, its northern terminus.
