Description

This is a very well-marked trail divided into two loops. At key points on the trail, a posted map lets you know where you are.

Flora & Fauna

Beech, maple, dogwood, and hemlock trees. Trillium, skunk cabbage, marsh marigold, jack-in-the-pulpit, hepatica, blue flag iris, and trailing arbutus. Pickerelweed and burrweed on the lakeshore. Wood ducks, hawks, owls, and woodpeckers. Frogs and turtles.
