Need to Know
Parking is not allowed on Cedar Creek Rd on the west end of the trail. On the east end, there is a parking lot located off of County Hwy NN.
Description
This is a busy singletrack trail that winds through woods. According the
Ice Age Trail map, the west end of the trail starts on Cedar Creek Rd. The road is rather narrow and travels over a bridge above Interstate 41. On the left side of the road, the Ice Age splits off as a singletrack trail.
The part of the section that follows is fantastic. The trail winds through the woods with some minor changes in elevation. This part would be brilliant to hike through when things are green, especially in the late spring or summer. Toward the west end of the trail, it goes through brief sections of prairies and fields. The trail ends at Highway NN. The West Bend segment is 5.4 miles away.
