Description
This area is still recovering from a fire a few years ago and is thinner than it was but that makes for great visibility.
The trail climbs a ridge almost to the top of the mountain before slipping through a saddle. From the summit you follow the ridge above Yellowjacket Creek.
The trail connects Clear Creek Road #409 to South Fork Salmon River Road #474.
