Need to Know

Badly burn damaged as of November 2020, many rocks and fallen trees on the trail. Looks susceptible to landslides and mudslides come winter.

Description

Trail climbs steeply through wooded slopes from Forsee trailhead, past Jackstraw springs and to Trail Fork Springs. Both springs are seasonal, check water conditions before setting out. The trail crosses several steep creeks on the way up.

At the top the trail connects to the San Bernardio Divide Trail and the summit. As of November 2020 most of the trail goes through an area of bad burn damage. The trail is passable, with fallen rocks and trees in places, but looks very susceptible to landslides and mudslides come winter. Approach with caution.
