Restrooms are only available at the entrance gatehouse (north building). You'll need to ring the bell to get access into the building. The cemetery is open from 7:30 to 4:30 daily.
Bellefontaine is an active cemetery so please be respectful of others while you enjoy your visit.
Description
Park near the entrance to Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum along willow drive. Do not park on the 'white line,' this is a route more heavily trafficked. The parking spaces near the office are reserved for appointments.
Follow the white stakes with two green bands beginning just east of the front office to the chapel and back to the entrance for a comfortable 1.3-mile loop. Bellefontaine Cemetery and Arboretum is a historic St. Louis institution that has been open since 1849. For more information visit the website at:

Flora & Fauna
The Arboretum holds more than 9,000 trees and shrubs of over 570 species. It is a level III ArbNet registered Arboretum.
