Description

This road-to-trail conversion runs from West Seminole up to East Apache at the the L. L. Tisdale junction.

The southern two-thirds of the trail is relatively quiet. The original two lane asphalt roadbed is still in place so it provides a nice way to get out in the woods even when the weather has been wet. This section is far enough from the freeway with enough tree shelter to muffle the road noise. Though I didn't see any wildlife when I went through, there is enough surrounding wilderness that I'm sure there are deer.

The northern third of the trail is one lane of old asphalt in mowed right of way. The hill is high enough to provide some good views of north Tulsa.
