Family Friendly Mostly level with minor inclines.

The roads have no winter maintenance, so plan accordingly.

Need to Know

The best places to park are at the reservoir and by the bridge on Brandon Road (less than 1/2 mile away). If you have a group I would suggest contacting the Mifflinburg Bourgh beforehand. No restroom access and cell service is spotty at best.

Description

This trail is easy to travel despite some rocky sections. There is very little grade, so traveling with children who can walk comfortably on their own is possible. The trail follows the North Branch of Buffalo Creek and is very scenic at any time of the year.

Flora & Fauna

Black bear, white-tailed deer, squirrels, chipmunks, a variety of birds.
