Description

This trail starts at the end of the campground near park or at Oak Grove Picnic Area. This is a hidden gem not shown on map that is a narrow dirt trail that is closer to nature compared to most of the wide crushed limestone trails shown on the Chain O' Lakes State Park Trail Map.

The trail is easily identified but there is several connecting trails so pay attention to the trail markers and follow the arrows. This will take you around the Mud Lake East Campground where there is a bench and view of lake, onto the Sunset Trail and heads towards Turner Lake then around the Fox Den Campground.

Pay attention when on Sunset Trail to the trail sign that state Nature's Way Trail that directs you back off the main trail to the dirt trail. There is some fallen trees that you'll need to climb under or over.
