The Grand Forest North Loop trail is not connected to the East/West Grand Forest trail systems and there is no parking which makes it harder to access. However, this also means that the trail is less used so you're almost guaranteed to have the trail to yourself.

The loop itself is short and for the most part pretty flat. While not used as much as the other Grand Forest trails they are just as well maintained.

There are many access points to the trail including:
* Miller Road NE just across from Arrow Point Drive NE
* The corner of Miller Road NE and NE Koura Road
* Hart Lane
