Description

This trail begins right across from the entrance to Chatfield Hollow State Park. It then continues through Forster Pond State Park and through Deer Lake Scout Reservation. All the while it goes up and down various hills and rock piles. Some of these are steep and some of these are technical, however, none of these are incredibly challenging.

In addition, this trail tours through wonderful examples of both Connecticut's deciduous and coniferous forests. This trail is a wonderful hike for anyone interested in the simpler pleasures of nature.
