Description
As you descend the Bumpass Hell Trail, there's an alternative trail that breaks off to the left at the 1 mile mark and descends down into the Bumpass Hell area. The trail provides great views of the whole Bumpass Hell area as you approach the boardwalk. The trail starts on a singletrack dirt trail before it turns to the right and descends a series of steps and boardwalks toward the Bumpass Hell Boardwalk. Its a short alternative to the main Bumpass Hell Trail.
