From a hard to find spot at about the midpoint of the Powerline Trail, head down almost all the way to the reservoir. When you see Barker Reservoir, turn left and climb up a few steep switchbacks.

The trail eventually dumps you onto a road in the subdivision. Be mindful as the last 25 feet are surprisingly steep (there was a rope in place as of spring 2015).

If you turn left and ride the road for a few minutes you can pick up the Dog Trail to return to the trail system.
