Need to Know

The trail can be started on Lamaloa Drive though there is no parking. If you have a car drive to the end of Waipahoehoe Dr. and park on Riverside away from the houses. There are no trashcans so pack out all of your trash. There are no restrooms.

Description

This winding trail is part of the Colorado River Refuge owned and managed by the Pines and Prairies Land Trust. Dragonfly passes through an open prairie, forest, and cactus garden. In the spring there are wonderful wildflowers!

There is a small detour in the middle of the trail called Meadow loop, use this to avoid an exact out and back.
