Description
The first part, by lower
Tinker Falls Trail is very easy, wide, and flat. Then we went up to the view The
Hang Glider Launch Trail. It's very steep on most of that section and well worth the workout. The views are amazing at the top. Then if you take the blue marked trail from the launch, you get a single wide trail with a lot of variety in the hike.
It was dry when we went, but if it has rained or spring, wear waterproof shoes or boots, you do have cross some creeks. The inclines can be very challenging.
At the end of the trail, you are at the top of the waterfalls. If the falls are running, you'll get wet—otherwise its a fairly dry crossing.
The only down side is the part on the road. That part hurt my feet and knees worse than the trails in the forest.
