Restrooms at the parking lot

Description

Starting from the parking lot you hike the perimeter of the meadow. You'll see an old cemetery on your left and eventually you'll enter the woods. There is a shortcut if desired that completely skips the wooded section. Halfway through the woods there is an unmarked trails that heads east. That connector trail will take you to the other side of the metropark where you can also hike the Indian Spring Trail for a longer hike.

If you stay on the meadow trail marked by a sunflower you'll reach the end of the woods that is marked by a swamp. This particular area is great for birdwatching. After leaving the woods the rest of the hike continues to circle the meadow and goes slightly uphill for a gorgeous view.

Flora & Fauna
