Need to Know

Like many trails at Denton Hill State Park, this is a wide trail following ski slopes. The weeds can be quite high (4+ feet) during the summer, so wear pants and insect repellent.

Description

Starting at the near (east) end of the parking lot, follow an obvious trail between the lodge on your right and a cabin on the left. Hike straight past the bottom end of a ski lift, ignoring trails that run to the left and immediate right. The trail starts as a gradual slope before becoming somewhat steeper, and terminates close to the top of the hill, where a right turn would allow you to connect to the Sidewinder Trail and head to the summit.
