Need to Know

Parking seems busy at times. Due to a large # of visitors the trail is well used, though not really crowded when I've been.

Description

Nice fairly open views of the creek starting from the Mullholland Wildflower Preserve, which has parking. Interesting old cast iron culverts along the way. Eventually the trail veers off uphill (several routes) coming out at the ruins of old dam works. Some people swim here though I don't know if this is permitted. Bathing and swimming is common along the whole route, and since the creek seems fairly calm this is good for kids.
