Description

This trail is composed of boardwalk, floating boardwalk and hard-packed rock trail. Plenty of swamp, forest and lake wildlife to view. There is consistent freeway noise in the background because I-394 is just a block away from the north end of the trail, but it's still quiet enough to enjoy the songbirds and the breeze rustling the trees.

Flora & Fauna

Plenty of small songbirds. Swans, ducks and geese can be seen on the lake. This trail is noted as a wildflower trail and there are truly wildflowers everywhere.
