Description

In Spain the Sendero Internacional de los Apalaches follows Natural Way of the Tagus from Alcantara, near the border with Portugal, to the town of Higuera de Albalat. The trail continues into the Unesco Villuercas Ibores Jara World Geopark at the center of Spain's "Appalachians", located between the rivers Tagus and Guadiana in Southeast Cáceres.
