Description

This trail section combines with Red 1 (R1) to form a horseshoe-shaped loop on the eastern edge of Hammond Hill forest. Starting from the top of Red Man Run Road (Forest Access Road), it includes some significant climbing along the northern end, before finishing with a nice descent.

Flora & Fauna

The red-spotted newt is very common to the area in early summer and late spring. Be careful not to trod on the cute little creatures!
