Description

The trail begins around Endris Lodge or Flatwoods Shelter. There are a few creek crossings with wooden footbridges, and there are some good views of Silver Creek during the first 0.75 miles of the trail. The trail alternates from dense hardwood forest to open fields. There are numerous side trails during the entire duration of the hike, mostly west of the parking lot. The trail passes a golf course and a disc golf course.

Flora & Fauna

There are some huge sycamores on this trail. Also, I have never not seen more than three deer on each visit.

The trails are in great shape! Hardpacked and would be great for biking.

Be prepared for several wet muddy areas on main trail. Bypass paths around each area from other hikers making their way around them. 85 percent flat. 2.9mi

nice easy trail with wide paths. Great for a dog walk. I could see this trail being pretty muddy after a rain. The fall colors and trees are beatiful. 4mi — 1h 18m
