This paved path starts at downtown Truckee and gently makes its way up to the Donner Lake Rim Trail. It also connects the rest of the Truckee Trail Network to downtown. Below the trail is Trout Creek. Towards the bottom half of trail you can see a vintage automobile and some other old equipment which appears to have fallen off the trail and is now peacefully rusting away.
