There was construction (on the road) at the trailhead.

Description

This trail starts off the southeast side of Mattison Hollow Road and runs along the base of the mountain. It turns right and runs through the hollow, following a stream. Shortly after crossing into Massachusetts, the trail reaches the Taconic Crest Trail.
