Description

Maps provided in wooden box leaving the parking field.

Leaving parking field take a right, crossing front of the goat pens and to the other side of the main road to the first teal bandana.

Follow the teal bandanas around the loop!

During the Spring the top of the cedar forrest entrances are a great place to see the endangered Golden Cheeked Warbler. So stay quiet and keep an eye out in the tall cedars and the canopies of oaks along the hillside.

You'll reach a tall game fence, this is Fossil Rim Wildlife Center, encourage your group to stay quiet and maybe you'll see and exotic hoofed animal! **Please do not climb on fences, animals are not safe to mess with. Thank you for your respect.**

Fields of Native wildflowers and grasses.

Feel free to open the gate and pass through if you find it closed; but please return it closed and latched so our cows do not escape!!

Twin Falls are sister swimming holes. You'll marvel at the beauty of the soft mosses and crystal clear water. ***Falls only run during the rainy Spring season. (February-May)

Enjoy your hike and thank you for supporting our efforts to protect Texas Hill Country.
