FSR 162 and 162A off of NM 244 are somewhat rough and may be tough to navigate in a car, recommend an SUV or truck.

FSR 162A is a doubletrack trail along a portion of the road closed to vehicular traffic by a gate. There is a parking area just before the gate on the road. The trail is an easy to follow doubletrack that winds through the forest to the Wofford Lookout Tower. The trail connects to the Zinker Canyon Trail T5660 by turning right at the sign for FSR 5593 and continuing until you see the sign for the trailhead on your left.
